60-minute initial session
In our first session we’ll get to know one another. We’ll discuss your overall wedding vision, ideal guests' budgets and the details of a destination wedding. From there, we’ll formulate a custom timeline with a few resort or villa recommendations to begin reviewing for your destination wedding.
When You Work with Us • the perks
After we decide to partner up, let's get planning! I handle the 'not so fun' stuff: travel arrangements for you and your guests, bridal site inspections, reviewing vendor packages (with your custom add-ons), advising on room block contracts, setting up a website & private Facebook Group for your wedding party, recommending off-site vendors as requested, coordinating off-site events for your group. You get to do the fun stuff: choosing the venue, dress/attire, menu, colors & theme. Oh, and of course, the honeymoon. Easy peasy.
I dedicate the last two weeks leading up to your wedding for you and you alone - no other weddings during that timeframe, so we are there for you for any reason. I am not a wedding mill; I am a destination wedding designer.

How much does Destination Wedding Planner cost?
Our planning packages start at $1250.00, and are a non-refundable planning fee. If you'd like to add Bliss Trips, Etc.'s Custom Honeymoon Services, there is an additional $750.00 non-refundable planning fee.
The initial fee covers your planner's services and the Groups Reservation Specialist's services.
How do I know a destination wedding is for me?
If you know, you know. Destination Weddings can come with all kinds of perks not only for you, but your group as well! We've helped many couples save thousands of dollars and create an unforgettable wedding experience.
Do you assist with guests' airfare?
No, we only book airfare for the bride and groom IF it makes sense (sometimes we can negotiate an airfare credit for the couple only). We will gladly help recommend the best flights if your guests are struggling; we've even been on the phone with guests and walked them through booking their own airfare.
Airfare is always best to book directly with the airline, and we recommend guests avoid booking Basic Economy fares, as those fares are often non-refundable and non-changeable.
Do you plan weddings anywhere in the world?
Yes and no. Rachel has planned a few European and Southeast Asia weddings, though we find most of our couples prefer the Caribbean, Mexico and Central America. Rachel is the planner to work with if you're looking for totally unique destination wedding.
